Popular Industries was founded in 1955, in Edapally, Kerala, by the visionary
businessman Mr P P Joseph. As the company had started to rise, he expanded its product range to
include high-quality candles, under the extension, Popular Candles. The long-established company was
founded in 1960, and 60 years later, is renowned for its consistent standards of manufacturing,
delivery, and customer service. As an internationally acclaimed producer and supplier of candles or home
fragrances, Popular Candles, maintains its quality with rigorous work ethics, leaving no room for
mediocrity.
We follow a stringent and transparent process, right from the stages of receiving
initial inquiry and developing a product that suits your needs to finalizing the consignment and then
shipping it. Moreover, all our private label products have already been formulated, tested, and

Located 20 km from the Kochi Port, our industries design, manufacture, and distribute a wide variety
of candles to domestic and world (currently in the US and UK) markets.
QUICK PRODUCTION
Equipped with labs and professional teams, we develop candles sampled to customer requirements, within
a short turnover time. Our semi-auto pouring lines allow for quick production of orders.
WIDE AROMA COLLECTION
Aroma libraries containing a wide range of fragrances for different seasons (fruity, floral, woody,
nutty, oriental, and other aromas which are popular or requested by our clientele). We have close
associations with fragrance houses to develop fragrances as required.
GLOBAL DESIGN STANDARDS
Expert designing teams carefully plan functional aspects and packaging. Our in-house team of skilled
designers offer attractive designing and packaging solutions. The product designs are based on closely
observed market trends, to remain in pace with our superlative global standards.
CUSTOMIZABLE CONTAINERS
Shapes, sizes and glass grades customized based on client demands. Our jars are available in small,
medium and large sizes with clear, frosted, coloured, etched, screen printed and metallic surfaces.
RIGOROUS TESTING
Lastly, our sampling process encompasses matching colours to selected pantone shades and various tests
which check for fragrance levels, colour stability, heat & cold stability, burning performance and
finishing, as is required by standard regulations. We follow ASTM and EN standards for testing our
products.
